Our schools in Madison County are second to none, serving as a driving force in the success and growth of our county. We are very proud of the accomplishments and reputation of Madison County Schools and the important work we do motivating, educating, and graduating our students for success.  

The excellence we have come to know and expect from our schools is the product of outstanding teachers, committed families, bright students, and the support of our fantastic community. For over a decade, our district has earned an A-rating on the state accountability model. All four attendance zones field championship teams in a variety of sports, and opportunities abound in the arts from painting and ceramics to theater and choir. We truly provide the very best in academics, athletics, and the arts for our students. 

Madison County Schools not only serves our children, but also plays an important role in keeping our cities and county strong. Families move to Madison County for the outstanding opportunities available to their children in our schools. We need your support to be the best and continue to attract families who value excellent education.

A meaningful way to show your dedication to the strength of our schools is by contributing to the Madison County Schools Education Foundation. The mission of the Foundation includes enhancing the quality of education by promoting academic excellence; fostering innovation and creativity; initiating programs that increase motivation to learn; recognizing success and accomplishments among faculty, staff, and students; and providing sustained financial support for Madison County Schools.

Dear Friends,

I’m pleased to be serving as president of the Madison County Schools Education Foundation. As an MCS parent of 15 years, I can tell you first-hand how impactful a quality education can be for our students. 

Living in Madison County, we’re fortunate to be a part of a diverse school district that has strong leadership; highly qualified and hard-working teachers and staff; high-achieving, talented students; outstanding facilities; and an invested community. And it takes a village to ensure that our school district – and our students – continue to thrive. That’s why I and so many other dedicated parents and community members have devoted our time and efforts to the Madison County Schools Education Foundation. But we need your help.

The funds we raise are used to promote academic excellence, foster innovation and creativity, initiate programs that facilitate learning, recognize the school district’s accomplishments, and provide sustained financial support for Madison County Schools.

Since the Foundation launched in 2019, we have awarded scholarships to a graduating senior from each zone, presented gift cards to teachers in the Falcon zone to aid in teacher retention, and helped provide funding for the district’s Summer Reading Academy, a literacy initiative to ensure that students pass the Third-Grade Reading Gate. And with additional funding, we hope to do so much more!
